Why Give?
Simply put, giving honors God and helps advance His mission. It honors God because when we give, we reflect God’s generosity. By offering Him the firstfruits (Prov 3:9) of our possessions, we recognize that all we have is a gift from Him. It advances His mission because giving to Cornerstone contributes to people, places, and programs that are working together to love God, grow people, serve our city, and reach the world.
“But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” (2 Corinthians 8:7)
