Simply put, giving honors God and helps advance His mission. It honors God because when we give, we reflect God’s generosity. By offering Him the firstfruits (Prov 3:9) of our possessions, we recognize that all we have is a gift from Him. It advances His mission because giving to Cornerstone contributes to people, places, and programs that are working together to love God, grow people, serve our city, and reach the world.
“But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” (2 Corinthians 8:7)

Give to What?
GENERAL FUND. Undesignated gifts go to the Cornerstone General Fund, which supports ministry needs, staffing, building maintenance, and other items. This is the fund that facilitates the bulk of ministry at Cornerstone and is strategic in helping us realize our vision. By giving to the General Fund, you are making a huge difference for the glory of God!
SHORT-TERM MISSIONS. Cornerstone occasionally sends short term teams regionally and around the world and are dependent on the generous giving of people in the local church.
BENEVOLENT FUND. Many in our community are struggling financially and have specific needs. The benevolent fund is designed to assist Cornerstone members and attenders with short-term support in order to help them get back on their feet. A benevolent offering is received at Cornerstone the first Sunday of most months. You can also give to the benevolent fund online.
