Prayer Ministries

James 5:16 . . . pray for each other . . . The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

E-Mail Prayer Chain

We encourage the Cornerstone church family to use the e-mail prayer chain for urgent prayer requests to ensure they get to the church family as soon as possible and remain acurate. Your e-mail prayer request will be sent out as a blind copy to everyone on our prayer list; no forwards will ever be sent to your e-mail address nor will your e-mail address be shared.

What kind of prayer requests can I make?

Prayer requests for you and your immediate family; such as surgeries, accidents, illnesses, etc. In an effort to keep the prayer chain as effective and uncluttered as possible, the following items should not be part of the prayer chain: Area news, community, school, state or national affairs, pet concerns, or neighborhood matters. Church matters needing prayer are handled through the church ministries. Please contact the ministry leader for concerns relative to that ministry. As crucial church matters occur, elders or ministry leaders will contact the Prayer Coordinators.

How to place a prayer request?

Please e-mail your prayer request to Prayer Chain Ministry. The prayer coordinators check e-mail several times daily and immediately forward the prayer requests just as they are written. Prayer requests should be brief and to the point to enable the church family to read multiple requests quickly. Please keep the prayer coordinators informed via e-mail of the progress, as all updates and praises will also be forwarded.

How do I join the prayer chain?

By sending an e-mail to the prayer chain e-mail address at cccprayerchain@cornerstonemarshfield.com with a note that you desire to join the prayer chain, your name, address, and phone number.

What is my response in receiving a prayer request?

Pray for it immediately and keep it confidential, unless sharing with others for prayer.
